Love is in the air...

We have been very busy this week and last week getting ready for Valentine's day. We have come up with 4 new designs specially for this day, and are very excited, as we have also now printed two colour notecards for the first time.

My favourite is the corset and heart - I just love it!

Wedding on the farm

 My baby sister recently got married about 100m away from the Essie Letterpress shed. She was one of our first clients and it's great to see how the initial invite theme and exitement carried through to the wedding itself.

For their thank-you cards we recommended that they rather make some personalised stationary instead. It remains unique to the bridal couple, but it is something that they can use for the rest of their lives and still be reminded of their big day.

Because they move around alot, they decided not to put on their address, but it is definitely an option.

Big Sam heads the pack

We are very happy to have done our first birth announcement.

Sammy here is an old friend that we have known since September. At the hospital  the nurses ink print the baby's feet before they get to go home These prints are brilliant and have the most amazing texture and lines- perfect for letterpress!!

 It almost looks as if Sammy stepped onto the page himself!

C&D

We just started printing Carla & Dandre's invite and it's coming out amazing. The design has an old world nautical flair with a hint of pirate and bureaucracy. Almost like a playbill for the town band.

It is always fun printing and designing invites like these because you feel like the printers of old with the over the top elements and attention to details. Well done on the Bridal couple for jumping outside the box!!

We are finally online!!

After months of procrastination Essie Letterpress finally has a website. Yeah!! Big up to weboon. We hope to keep it up to date. Promise.
